Description:

***100% Onsite

We are seeking Applications Developer to support the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of a large-scale Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) enterprise application suite comprising multiple operational modules and integrated subsystems.

The selected developer will work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, configure reference tables and workflows, manage user permissions, develop enhancements, and provide ongoing production support. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid career developer with solid object-oriented fundamentals and SQL expertise looking to expand into enterprise-scale system architecture and integration.

Key Responsibilities
• Requirements & Configuration: Collaborate with functional teams to conduct requirement gathering and analysis; configure COTS application workflows, parameters, and reference tables.
• Development & Scripting: Write code for change requests, scripting tasks, and system modifications following established software development standards and coding best practices.
• Security & Access Administration: Configure and maintain role-based user access controls and system security permissions across application modules.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Perform software debugging, write implementation specifications, execute test scenarios, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Source Control & Deployments: Manage code and configuration artifacts using enterprise source control repositories; assist with deployment preparation.
• Production Support: Troubleshoot production issues, analyze defect root causes, and provide reliable Tier-2/Tier-3 application maintenance.

Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferred concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline).
• Database Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with relational SQL databases (querying, data manipulation, schema understanding).
• Object-Oriented Development: Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience using object-oriented languages (C#, .NET, Java, or VB).
• Development Methodologies: Practical understanding of standard software development life cycles (SDLC), including both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile frameworks.
• Technical Communication: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills; proficiency with standard productivity tools (MS Office Suite).
• Work Style: Proactive, collaborative attitude with an eagerness to master complex domain-specific systems.
• Experience designing, consuming, or troubleshooting Web Services and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud environments (particularly AWS).
• Experience authoring and optimizing complex SQL Stored Procedures.

Special Requirements & Compliance
• Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder). Note: OPT/CPT EAD holders cannot be considered for this role.
• Location: Local candidates only (must be able to report 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA).
• Interview Format: Final-round interviews are conducted in-person only.
• Background Check: Candidates must successfully clear an extensive background screening prior to start, including fingerprinting, a comprehensive criminal background check (no felony convictions), and state tax compliance verification (must have no overdue or unpaid state tax liabilities; a state tax compliance clearance letter is required at time of submittal).
