We are seeking an experienced QA Tester / Test Design Specialist to design, author, and manage high-quality test documentation for enterprise-level applications. In this role, the vast majority of your efforts will focus on reading technical architecture and design documents to craft comprehensive test plans, end-to-end interface test cases, and document workflow scenarios in Jira and XRAY.

This role emphasizes rigorous test strategy, technical requirement translation, and traceability rather than routine test execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Test Case Authoring: Design, write, and maintain detailed, reusable test cases, scenarios, and test plans derived from business requirements, system specifications, and integration flows.
• Interface & Integration Testing: Author comprehensive test cases covering end-to-end API integrations, web services, data exchanges, and system-to-system communication channels.
• Specialized Document Workflow Testing: Design test scenarios for Kofax capture, transformation, and document processing systems to validate extraction, data validation, and routing workflows.
• Requirements Analysis: Partner with developers, system architects, and business analysts to analyze technical specs, payload schemas, and system interactions to capture edge cases early in the SDLC.
• Test Management & Traceability: Structure and organize all testing assets, coverage mapping, and traceability matrices using Jira and XRAY.
• Targeted Validation: Perform focused exploratory or validation testing as needed, maintaining primary emphasis on test design and architectural coverage.

Required Qualifications
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of software quality assurance experience within an Agile development environment.
• Test Design & Management Tools: Proven expertise in Jira and deep hands-on proficiency with XRAY for test case management and requirement traceability.
• Integration Testing Expertise: Strong experience authoring interface test cases for REST APIs, web services, and distributed microservices architectures.
• Specialized Platform Knowledge: Demonstrated experience designing test cases for Kofax capture and document automation platforms.
• Technical Environment Familiarity: Solid conceptual and testing understanding of modern web applications built on Angular frontends and Java backends.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical payloads and architectural specifications into precise, structured test documentation.

Required / Desired Skills

• Software quality assurance experience in an Agile environment (Required 4 Years)
