Description:
**HybridThe Local Home Visiting Coordinator will coordinate locally grown home visiting programs to ensure they meet all federal and state requirements including various funding.
The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the Coordinator. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time.
• Coordinate implementation of for local home visiting agencies by ensuring eligibility measures and reporting methods are established
• Assist with budget development and grant writing for funds to support home visiting initiatives and continued sustainability,
• Monitor effectiveness of provider performance using a variety of methods including reoccurring communication with home visiting sites, site visits, service delivery reports and data reviews.
• Collect data reports that monitor home visiting service information to ensure adherence to funding eligibility, progress toward goals and objectives, and prepare all required reports to the federal government.
• Support fiscal monitoring of grantees through the review of budgets and invoices, monitoring and tracking of invoices and expenses to process the reimbursement to home visiting agencies
• Conduct training and provide technical assistance to home visiting providers regarding grant guidance, data, quality improvement or other identified areas of need.
• Support network of home visiting partners and local health departments in delivering high quality home visiting services
• Staff must work closely with internal and external partners, including existing home visiting networks.
• Staff will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local implementing local, state, regional, and national partners.
Required / Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Areas of study may include public health, health administration, education, healthcare, psychology, social work, etc. (Required 4 Years)
- Ability to communicate extremely well verbally and in writing - prepare written and oral reports and presentations that communicate effectively (Required 4 Years)
- Outstanding organizational skills and able to take initiative (Required 4 Years)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects, both big and small (Required 4 Years)
- Master's in public health preferred (Highly Desired 2 Years)
- Experience coordinating state and/or federal grants. (Highly Desired 2 Years)
- Knowledge of and/or experience in home visiting or family support programming (Highly Desired 2 Years)
- Ability to write for and manage large grants and associated responsibilities (Highly Desired 2 Years)
- Strong interest and understanding of data, quality improvement strategies and tools and providing technical assistance (Highly Desired 2 Years)
