Description:

We are seeking an IT Security Analyst who will work under the direction of the Chief of Security and IT Operations to develop and implement security processes, standards, and procedures. This position will document, improve, implement, and test information security processes and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and update information security policies, procedures, and other documentation that align with industry best practices and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Support annual security compliance assessments and external audit activities and manage remediation plans.
• Monitor and coordinate response to security incidents.
• Develop security awareness and training plan.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security policies and procedures are aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct security risk analysis of business processes and technology solutions to evaluate compliance with internal security policies and standards as well as regulatory requirements and security best practices.

Required / Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Info. Systems (or equivalent experience) (Required 4 Years)
  
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security + or other relevant security-related certification (Required 1 Years)
  
• Experience with federal data privacy and security standards specifically related to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Internal (Required 2 Years)
  
• Significant knowledge and experience with information security standards and frameworks including VITA SEC525, MARS-E, NIST 800-53, IRS Safeguards. (Required 4 Years)
  
• Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities (Required 4 Years)
  
• Ability to conduct risk assessment, incident response, and security awareness and training activities (Required 4 Years)
