Description:
***HybridWe are seeking a Contract Analyst who will work with the Grant Manager, internal partners, and external partners to process contracts, competitive procurements, and invoices. This position will report directly to and assist the Coordinator and Grants Manager to streamline procurement processing throughout all stages of the grant periods. The Contract Analyst will also provide general procurement support to program staff and grant management team members.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide overall management of all grant contract activities, including coordinating procurement process between programs and procurement office, assisting programs with drafting contracts, submitting purchase orders/requisitions, managing timelines, reviewing budgets for grant contracts, and collaborating with program, department staff, and external partners.
• Train program/project leads on service invoice submission.
• Ensure contract compliance with guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
• Coordinate with team members, program leads, and internal/external partners for contract submissions, amendments, and extensions.
• Collaborate with team members on progress reports for the funder.
• Identify areas of improvement for procurement process.
• Attend, organize, and/or facilitate project meetings.
• Perform other duties related to grant contract management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree with a degree, preferably in a business-related field AND at least three years of professional experience, OR at least four years of professional procurement experience, OR at least four years of professional procurement related experience with the State of Tennessee.
• Experience working with federal grants is preferred.
• Training/education and interest in business and/or public health
• Skilled in developing concrete action plans to solve problems and streamline procurement processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
• Experience working with REDCap preferred but not required.
• Ability to facilitate projects while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well with diverse team members and partners.
